She
got the hang of it pretty quick, but would get only so far when her hand would
get tired, and she would drop it off. It
doesn’t make a very wide knit, but she was thinking she would like to make a
scarf out of it eventually. It really is
a lot of fun – you could make narrow lengths very quickly while sitting
watching TV and then sew them together to make a wider scarf. With all the great bizarre yarns out there,
think of all the neat stuff you could make!
For
a very long time now, I have loved photography.
Years ago, I took a class, but that was over 20 years ago when I was using a 35 mm camera,
and I have forgotten most of what I learned about F-stops and everything
else. My digital photography has been
okay, but not that great. Last night, I
was reading a book about using macro lenses, and it had a section on
photographing animals. What do you
suppose I did? Yup – I started bugging
my cats. Here are a couple that I took-

I
am amazed at the difference it makes to use the macro setting – the flash was
still going off, but I didn’t get the red eye I usually get when taking
pictures of the girls. This is something
I will have to explore further- I’ll have to see how far “in-your-face” I can
get with the kids! LOL
And
that has pretty much been the extent of the day. Sad. I’m
so glad the weekend is starting.
Tomorrow is the giveaway announcement!
